Job title: Manufacturing Technician
Location: Radway Green
Salary: £47,418 inclusive of 25% shift allowance (Basic £37,935)
What you’ll be doing:
- Ensuring processes are maintained and operated in a safe manner and escalate issues affecting safety within the given production area
- Ensuring that work undertaken adheres to relevant quality standards and provides support in the implementation of quality improvement projects
- Operating of manufacturing processes and facilities to meet production programme requirements
- Supporting implementation of continuous improvement activities
- Identifying, raising and implementing solutions to safety, quality and production problems
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- A time served mechanical engineering apprenticeship in a manufacturing environment (minimum NVQ Level 3)
- Experience of working within a production environment whilst conducting preventative maintenance activities
- Experience in the setting and operating of manufacturing plant and equipment
- Experienced in fault finding with root cause, corrective and preventative activities
