Job Advert: Part-Time Dental Nurse – Bupa Dental Care, Bishops Stortford

Practice Manager Sophie McCormick at Bupa Dental Care Bishops Stortford is looking for a part-time, GDC-registered Dental Nurse to join her vibrant and experienced team.

Location: Bupa Dental Care, Potter Street, Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire, CM23 3AQ
How to Get Here:

Train: A short 5–10 minute walk from Bishops Stortford train station, which offers direct services to London Liverpool Street, Cambridge, and Stansted Airport.

Bus: Excellent local bus connections stop near the practice.
Note: Unfortunately, there is no on-site parking, but town centre car parks are within walking distance.

About the Practice:
10-surgery, modern practice

Mixed NHS and private treatments

A team of on-site specialists including:

  • Implants
  • Periodontist
  • Endodontist
  • Prosthodontist
  • Oral Surgeon

Working Pattern:
Tuesday: 07:45 – 17:00

Thursday: 07:45 – 17:00

Friday: 07:45 – 16:00

Ad hoc Saturdays may be required
⏱️ Total Weekly Hours: 23.75

Qualified Dental Nurse skills and experience required for this role:

  • GDC Registered
  • Preferred Dentally experience
  • Ensure CQC requirements are met
  • Update patient records – digitally held
  • Set up decontamination of instruments
  • Provide clinical chair-side support to dentists
  • Undertake some reception duties
  • Willingness to provide exceptional patient care
